Is the free plan actually free?
Yes. Community is free for up to 300 students on your roll, with no time limit and nothing to cancel. It is not a trial and it does not expire at the end of a term. 13 of the 17 modules are on it.
What would Pro cost a school our size?
₹100 per student per year. A school of 600 pays ₹60,000 a year, which is about ₹5,000 a month. A school of 1,500 pays ₹1,50,000. There is no setup fee, no minimum and no charge per teacher.
Which modules are only on Pro?
Four: attendance, timetable, fees, ai. They are the ones a school reaches for once its records are already in order, which is why they are what Pro is for. Everything else, from admissions and the roll through subjects, tests, the gradebook, progress cards, course content, documents, the notice board and the audit trail, is on the free plan.
How do we actually pay you?
A person. Onflows takes no card and holds no payment page: you tell us your roll, we invoice you, and somebody here moves your school onto Pro. That is a deliberate scope line rather than an oversight, and it is why no button on this site says buy.
What counts towards the 300 students?
Students currently on your roll. A student who has left keeps every record, because nothing in Onflows is hard-deleted, but stops using a place. Staff, parents and past pupils are never counted.
What happens when we reach the limit?
You are warned from 240 students, which is 80 percent of the cap. At 300, new admissions and imports pause until the plan is raised. Nothing you already have is touched, nothing is deleted, and no screen is taken away.
Do we pay per teacher?
No. Staff logins are unlimited on both plans, and every role is included: admin, principal, teacher, accountant, front desk and parent. Pricing follows the children, because that is the number a school can actually predict.
Is anything charged on top?
WhatsApp and SMS delivery, and online fee collection. Each carries a cost from somebody else, per message or per transaction, so we quote those against your volume instead of burying them in the rate. Email is included on both plans.
Is our data separate from other schools?
Yes, and it is the database that enforces it rather than our application code. Every record carries your school's identifier, every tenant table carries a row-level policy, and a build gate refuses any new table that does not. We test it against a live database.
The cheapest plan is not the stripped one
Community is a whole running school: the roll, admissions, subjects, tests, the gradebook, progress cards, course content and the archives, at yourschool.onflows.app with your name, logo and colours. Isolation, role permissions and an append-only audit trail are on both plans, because a school's records are not a premium feature.
