An Indian state-board school
State boards are not a variation on CBSE. They use different words for the same year, they break the year into a different number of terms, and they end it with a different examination. Onflows knows which is which, so nobody has to translate.

Where a board publishes its own scheme we follow it. For 22 of the 32 boards the subject list we seed is a sensible default rather than the board's prescribed set, the app says so where it matters, and you edit it once in the first week.
A school with pre-primary
Pre-primary is a school offering, never a board prescription. That is a decision in the domain model, not a setting we added later.

Nursery, LKG and UKG are years, not a separate product
They sit on the same ladder as Class 1, so the same roll, the same admissions and the same progress cards cover them. 31 of the 32 boards seed them, and any school can remove them in one step.

Sections are optional
A school with one Class 5 works exactly as a school with 5A through 5D, and adding sections next year restructures nothing that already exists.

Streams and electives are the school's, not ours
Class 11 composes from an elective pool where the board works that way and from fixed streams where it does not. Second-language splits get their own roster per subject.
More than one campus
Running six schools as one database with a campus column is the defect this product was built to avoid. Each campus is a school.

Each campus gets its own portal at its own address, its own roll, its own staff and its own academic year. Nothing about one campus is visible from another.

Separated by Postgres, not by discipline
Every row carries the school it belongs to and the database refuses a cross-school read. A build gate fails the release if a table is added without that rule.

The same roles, the same permissions and the same append-only trail of who changed what, on every campus, without configuring each one from scratch.

One conversation, not six
A trust is quoted once, with a student limit and terms recorded against the contract rather than guessed by the software.
What fitting your school costs
Setting up your board costs nothing and is not a service we sell. It is a choice in the first screen.
