School software for Plan d'études romand schools
Choose Plan d'études romand when you create your school, and Onflows sets up 1H Kindergarten to Gymnasium 4, 2 terms, the Maturité gymnasiale years and the board's grading before you type anything.
Plan d'études romand (French-speaking cantons)
We have not yet checked this setup against the board's own published scheme. It is a sensible default: check the grading and subjects in your first week and change what does not match.

Grading, the way Plan d'études romand grades
The academic year runs August to July. Each stage gets its own scale, and marks entered once become the gradebook, the progress card and the parent's screen.
| Stage | Scale | Grades | Pass mark |
|---|---|---|---|
| Primarstufe | Noten 1-6 | 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 | |
| Sekundarstufe I | Noten 1-6 | 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 | |
| Sekundarstufe II | Noten 1-6 | 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 |
The year's assessments, already planned
These arrive with their weights, so the term result adds up without a spreadsheet beside it. This plan is a common pattern rather than the board's prescribed one; change it to match yours.
| Term | Assessment | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Semester | Prüfungen | 25% |
| 1. Semester | Mündlich | 25% |
| 2. Semester | Prüfungen | 25% |
| 2. Semester | Mündlich | 25% |
Subjects at every stage
Seeded per class, and yours to edit. Your school picks its languages at setup. Add a subject, drop one, or split a second language into its own roster.
