School software for UAE MOE (MOE curriculum, Emirati curriculum) schools
Choose UAE MOE when you create your school, and Onflows sets up KG1 to Grade 12, 3 terms (Term 1, Term 2 and Term 3), the Grade 12 Certificate years and the board's grading before you type anything.

We have not yet checked this setup against the board's own published scheme. It is a sensible default: check the grading and subjects in your first week and change what does not match.

Grading, the way UAE MOE grades
The academic year runs August to July. Each stage gets its own scale, and marks entered once become the gradebook, the progress card and the parent's screen.
| Stage | Scale | Grades | Pass mark |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cycle 1 | UAE MOE A+ to F | A+, A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, C-, D+, D, D-, F | 60% |
| Cycle 2 | UAE MOE A+ to F | A+, A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, C-, D+, D, D-, F | 60% |
| Cycle 3 | UAE MOE A+ to F | A+, A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, C-, D+, D, D-, F | 60% |
The year's assessments, already planned
These arrive with their weights, so the term result adds up without a spreadsheet beside it.
| Term | Assessment | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| Term 1 | Formative Assessment | 10% |
| Term 1 | End of Term 1 Exam | 25% |
| Term 2 | Formative Assessment | 15% |
| Term 2 | School-based Summative Assessment | 15% |
| Term 3 | Formative Assessment | 10% |
| Term 3 | End of Term 3 Exam | 25% |
Where this comes from
This setup has not yet been checked against UAE MOE's published scheme. The subject list is a sensible default rather than the board's prescribed set. Onflows is not affiliated with or endorsed by the board.
