School software for England National Curriculum (British curriculum, UK curriculum, English National Curriculum) schools
Choose England National Curriculum when you create your school, and Onflows sets up Nursery to Year 13, 3 terms (Autumn, Spring and Summer), the KS2 SATs, GCSE and A Level years and the board's grading before you type anything.

We have not yet checked this setup against the board's own published scheme. It is a sensible default: check the grading and subjects in your first week and change what does not match.

Grading, the way England National Curriculum grades
The academic year runs September to June. Each stage gets its own scale, and marks entered once become the gradebook, the progress card and the parent's screen.
| Stage | Scale | Grades | Pass mark |
|---|---|---|---|
| Early Years Foundation Stage | EYFS Profile | EXP, EMG | |
| Key Stage 1 | Primary attainment descriptorsA default to check | GDS, EXS, WTS | |
| Key Stage 2 | Primary attainment descriptorsA default to check | GDS, EXS, WTS | |
| Key Stage 3 | GCSE 9-1 | 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, U | |
| Key Stage 4 | GCSE 9-1 | 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, U | |
| Sixth Form | A Level A*-E | A*, A, B, C, D, E, U |
The year's assessments, already planned
These arrive with their weights, so the term result adds up without a spreadsheet beside it. This plan is a common pattern rather than the board's prescribed one; change it to match yours.
| Term | Assessment | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| Autumn Term | Classwork | 16.7% |
| Autumn Term | Autumn Assessment | 16.66% |
| Spring Term | Classwork | 16.66% |
| Spring Term | Mock Examination | 16.66% |
| Summer Term | Classwork | 16.66% |
| Summer Term | End of Year Examination | 16.66% |
