School software for Maharashtra State Board schools
Choose Maharashtra State Board when you create your school, and Onflows sets up Nursery to Standard 12, 2 terms, the SSC and HSC years and the board's grading before you type anything.
Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education
We have not yet checked this setup against the board's own published scheme. It is a sensible default: check the grading and subjects in your first week and change what does not match.

Grading, the way Maharashtra State Board grades
The academic year runs June to April. Each stage gets its own scale, and marks entered once become the gradebook, the progress card and the parent's screen.
| Stage | Scale | Grades | Pass mark |
|---|---|---|---|
| Primary | State board gradesA default to check | A+, A, B+, B, C, D | 35% |
| Middle | State board gradesA default to check | A+, A, B+, B, C, D | 35% |
| Secondary | State board gradesA default to check | A+, A, B+, B, C, D | 35% |
| Senior Secondary | State board gradesA default to check | A+, A, B+, B, C, D | 35% |
The year's assessments, already planned
These arrive with their weights, so the term result adds up without a spreadsheet beside it. This plan is a common pattern rather than the board's prescribed one; change it to match yours.
| Term | Assessment | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| First Term | Unit Test | 25% |
| First Term | First Term Examination | 25% |
| Second Term | Unit Test | 25% |
| Second Term | Annual Examination | 25% |
Subjects at every stage

- Middle
- Marathi, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Third language, Computer
