School software for Ensino português (Portuguese curriculum) schools
Choose Ensino português when you create your school, and Onflows sets up Pré-escolar 3 anos to 12.º ano, 2 terms, the Provas finais do 9.º ano and Exames nacionais years and the board's grading before you type anything.
Ministério da Educação, Ciência e Inovação (Portugal)
We have not yet checked this setup against the board's own published scheme. It is a sensible default: check the grading and subjects in your first week and change what does not match.

Grading, the way Ensino português grades
The academic year runs September to June. Each stage gets its own scale, and marks entered once become the gradebook, the progress card and the parent's screen.
| Stage | Scale | Grades | Pass mark |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.º ciclo | 1.º ciclo menções | MB, B, S, I | |
| 2.º ciclo | Níveis 1-5 | 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 | |
| 3.º ciclo | Níveis 1-5 | 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 | |
| Ensino secundário | Valores 0-20 | Marks only | 50% |
The year's assessments, already planned
These arrive with their weights, so the term result adds up without a spreadsheet beside it. This plan is a common pattern rather than the board's prescribed one; change it to match yours.
| Term | Assessment | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| 1.º semestre | Testes | 25% |
| 1.º semestre | Trabalhos | 25% |
| 2.º semestre | Testes | 25% |
| 2.º semestre | Trabalhos | 25% |
Subjects at every stage
Seeded per class, and yours to edit. Your school picks its languages at setup. Add a subject, drop one, or split a second language into its own roster.
